Vicki Hohenstein

Vicki Hohenstein, CFA, is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Tower Wealth Managers, a subsidiary of Country Club Trust Company. Vicki is Head of Fundamental Equity Strategies for Tower Wealth Managers and is a member of Tower’s Board of Directors. She also works with high net worth individuals and institutional clients in developing and implementing their investment goals and objectives.

Vicki’s experience spans domestic and international equity markets. Prior to joining Tower Wealth Managers, she served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Wells Fargo. She was the co-manager of the Wells Fargo Disciplined Core Equity Model utilized across the company’s footprint. In addition, Vicki also developed an International Equity Model for which she served as team leader until 2003. Vicki joined Wells Fargo as the result of Wells Fargo’s acquisition of First Commerce Investors, a registered investment advisory firm in Lincoln, Nebraska. At First Commerce, she co-managed the Great Plains International Equity Fund.

Vicki has 37 years of experience in fundamental equity analysis and portfolio management. Her investment career includes ten years at First National Bank of Omaha where she was Chair of the Equity Team. She began her investment career in 1979 as an analyst with Kirkpatrick, Pettis, Smith, Polian Inc., a regional brokerage and investment management firm, where she ultimately held the position of Director of Equity Research.

Vicki graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with distinction, in 1978, and earned her MBA from the University of Nebraska-Omaha in 1983. Vicki is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and is a past President and Board Member of the Nebraska Society of Financial Analysts, along with being a member of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts.
