Senior Managing Director of Sales and Marketing for Northland Fixed Income in Kansas City. His primary responsibilities include the development and management of a team of sales professionals who service investment relationships across the country. Scott also serves as a member of the bank’s Asset Liability and Investment Committee.

Background

Scott graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.B.A in Finance and began his career in finance and banking with State Street as an investment accountant for the Berger and Oberweis Fund families. Thereafter, he joined U.S. Central of Lenexa, Kansas where he spent the next decade serving in several different capacities, but primarily as a trader and portfolio manager of a short duration portfolio which averaged $18 billion in total assets. He also served as a member of the team selected to build an asset-backed commercial paper conduit. Scott was named to manage and run the conduit as its sole manager in addition to his duties with the short-term portfolio.

In late 2009, Mr. Carrithers was named the National Accounts Member Sales Officer for the Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB) in Dallas, Texas. He managed the relationships, including funding and specific leverage strategies, for all publically traded members and those with assets greater than $5 billion.

Scott joined the organization in March 2013.

Volunteer Activities:

Scott currently serves on the Board of the Kansas City First Tee as its Chairman and President.
