Sean Doherty is the Senior Managing Director of Northland BancPath. In this role, Sean is actively involved in the day-to-day management of BancPath and developing strategies and products to assist community banks. He leads initiatives in Total Balance Sheet Management through comprehensive Asset Liability Reporting and Consulting using the proprietary BancPath® suite of services.
With more than four decades of experience in banking, Sean has developed key systems that have revolutionized how community banks approach investment and risk management. He created the PARs Investment Management System, which aids banks in optimizing portfolio structures, and the BancPath® Interest Rate Risk model to help manage balance sheet and interest rate risks. As a member of Country Club Bank's Asset Liability Committee, Sean is integral to the ongoing development of systems that adapt to the evolving regulatory landscape, including the BancPath® Swaps model, BancPath CECL Calculator and the BancPath Loan Builder models.
Sean holds degrees in economics and business administration from Benedictine College and received his MBA in finance from Rockhurst College. He has served on the Board of Directors for Benedictine College since 2017.
