Cody is VP, Institutional Sales with Northland Fixed Income, Kansas City, where his primary responsibilities are fixed income securities, portfolio sales, and to provide investment strategy and product ideas to institutional clients.
He holds the following securities licenses:
- SIE – Securities Industry Essentials
- Series 52 – MSRB Municipal Securities Registered Representative
Background
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Cody joined the organization in 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree in personal financial planning from Texas Tech University and his MBA with a concentration in finance from Columbia Southern University. He has extensive experience in retail banking with over seven years of previous experience. Previously, he worked for Navy Federal Credit Union.
When he joined the organization, Cody worked for the operations team, where he gained an understanding of the fixed income industry. Cody quickly progressed in operations and was promoted to join the investment team in 2024. He carries both the SIE and Series 52 exams and is focused on institutional sales.
