Marc Scott

Marc Scott is the Chief Investment Officer for Country Club Trust Company. Marc works with high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients in developing and implementing their investment goals and objectives.

Marc has over 20 years of investment industry experience, including 15 years at American Century Investments, where he was a Vice President and Portfolio Manager co-managing a $2.5 billion All-Cap Growth strategy. Marc started his professional career as a credit analyst at Central Bank in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Marc is a graduate of Missouri State University and earned his MS in finance from Texas A&M University. He is a CFA® charterholder and an active member of the Kansas City Society of Financial Analysts, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner.

Aside from Marc’s professional career, he is an avid volunteer who has traveled the globe. He is a member of the Advisory Council and Finance Committee as well as being a past Board member for Be The Change Volunteers (BTCV) and through BTCV, he assisted in the building and improvement of seven different schools in seven different countries, including Tanzania, Papau New Guinea and India. Additionally, Marc enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and English Bulldogs.
