January Highlights

>> U.S. large capitalization equities posted another strong month while smaller capitalization and international stocks lagged.

>> Fixed income indices were mixed as the yield on the two-year U.S. Treasury remained at a similar level to that on 12/31/23. The yield on the ten-year rose however.

>> Significant headlines for the month included relatively positive inflation news and the Federal Reserve standing put on short-term interest rates for the time being.
